Mid Racer

The new Mid Racer is nearly finished. We have some minor detailing to finish, however the main specifications are below. Next to being front wheel drive the Mid Racer is dividable in two sections. The frame splits under the seat. This allows for easier transport and combined with the front wheel drive means that setting the bike to the rider does not require changing the length of the chain. Perhaps even more importantly this also means that the space between the bottom bracket and wheel is fixed, so shorter riders will also enjoy riding without crank/wheel interference.

The Mid Racer is a medium height recumbent that can be used for touring / commuting or for racing. In the design we allowed for the bike to be set up with 26-inch wheels in combination with v-brakes or discs. If you want to go fast we can also deliver the bike with 700c wheels, front and rear. When using 700c we advice using race brakes. In terms of gearing the bike is deliverable with single setups to doubles or internal hub gearing.
